hi all i have a 2006 proxima 7441 ,i have replaced the brake master cylinders but i cant seem to harden the pedals ,ihave bled the back brake lines, they harden up when uncoupled and then lose pressure when coupled, idont seem to have any leaks, thanks in advance for any replies

perhaps stating the obvious, but did you bleed the system all the way down to the slave cylinders ? Bleeding the master cylinders by letting air out through a banjo bolt isnt enough..

Hi,

When bleeding you need the opposite pedal to the side you're bleeding down about 20mm. Have you found the bleed screws on the air valve on the r/h side under the cab and on the trailer brake valve, if you have one ? These need bleeding with the pedals locked together.
