  1. Forterra oil leak from rear brake shafts

If I stop or park my Forterra 12441 -07 in uphill, there is a serious oil leak coming out from bouth brake shafts (5 cm above brake cylinders). Any idea what could cause this. Oil levels are correct.
  2. 7441 upgrade

if you have TIER II engine, 8441 has got small intercooler, 7441 don't. But you can still easily twick 7441 to give 100 hp from PTO. Just increase fuel injection and modify that pressure indicator which is mounted in pump. Open cup with 22mm wrench and loose that spring with 10mm wrench.
  3. wrong bonnet ?

    Picture would hepl a lot...
  4. Which Oil to use where?

So don't use 10w/30 in end reduction. It doesn't lubricate in hot conditions
  5. question Zetor 25A water pump trouble

Probably you don't find new waterpump in UK on in rest of world. If you find, let me know, I will make money with them in Finland... You just must try to fix it.
  6. question Zetor 5245 PTO trouble

I would use it in 2nd position (pto and hyd-pump)

  8. How are the new Forterras and Proximas doing?

REnze, Yes, it is now 12441. (I don't understand why did they change model so quickly) Rob: Bouth 11441 and 12441 are now TIER III. Bouth machines has got air to air coolers now.
  9. 11741 forterra

    Too low oil level.
  10. How are the new Forterras and Proximas doing?

We got new 12441 last thursday. Seems to be much more powerful than our previous 11441 (year 2006). Cab noise has decreased littlebit (athough it is still pretty high). Overall, seems that Zetor is going forward with developement.
  11. 16145 drag racing with dumper ?

That video is from Finland. Trailer weight was 26 tn and top speed of that crystal was 55kmh in top of hill (If I remember correctly) And that hill is much more bigger than it appears in that clip!
  12. Hudraulic will not lift to top

Dear Tage I believe that you have same problem that I have now with my 5245. 3-point hitch lever bolt (where it goes through top cover of rear axle) has loosened and you must tighten it and adjust it again. If you continue using hydraulics soon your first SCV will not work to forward position...
  13. Proxima 6441

My opinion is that often people "after-run" their engine with too low rpm (idle is in proximas 750rpm) which is too less. 1000-1200 rpm will keep oli pressure and cooling system pressure high enough to ensure proper lubrication and cooling in hot engine.
  14. ZTS tractors... still alive, or bleeding to death ??

I found also this one: http://www.martimex.sk/ Intresting... I wonder do they meet TIER III emission rates and are they type approved in European Union?
  15. Proxima 6441

8441 has got small intercooler, different injector pump and nozzles and also cylinder head is a littlebit different I think. Pistons are similar.
  16. Horsepower increase

Im not Markku (or actually I'm, my another name is Markku) but I answer. Horsepower increasement is easily done by adjusting the injection pump. There is a motorpal row-pump and you must open the rear cover of pump. Then unscrew toppest bolt (with 10 mm wrench) and turn screw in 1-2 rounds.
  17. pto running backwards

    UR3 can do it.
  18. Smokey 11441

We have had 11441 since february and I have noticed also this smoking, especially with lower rpm:s. And I have found that engine is a littlebit lazy with lower rpm but there is really nise torgue with higher rpm:s. I don't agree with you in this finishing-quality. I think that it is in same...
