Hey, is it possible to run the pto backwards on my 3340 zetor . I have wedged the post hole digger in the ground twice now.( I backed it out with a pipe wench.) I seen on zetors web site, for the range 1 series, that you can run the pto backwards. How do I do this?

Yes it is possible, raise PTO lever into land drive position select neutral with the high/low range gear lever engage reverse with main gear lever gives you anticlockwise rotation of the PTO shaft selection of a forward gear gives you clockwise rotation

Hey thanks for the info. I tried it and it works. This is somthing I will use in the feuture.

Tom
All Zetor UR1,UR2 & UR3 ranges have this very useful feature of being able to give anticlockwise rotation of the PTO shaft.

Alzet,

Are you sure that the UR2 and UR3 can do this? The UR2 (Zetor Crystal) PTO shaft drive is hydraulic and I thought- although I must confess I stand to be corrected[/] - that this would only operate in a clockwise manner?

Tom

UR3 can do it.

Are you sure Zetor Crystal can run the PTO backwards???
If so how do you engage it?? As far as I understand all you can do is change the speed by inserting the shaft into front of transmission:sneaky:

On the Zetor Crystal there is a lever on the cab floor to the right of the seat by the hand brake lever giving you dependent (Landrive) & independent (540 & 1000) PTO see operators manual . To obtain drive in landrive the hydraulic PTO clutch has to be engaged
