there is a plate on the LH side of the gearbox, 2 x 6mm bolts hold it on, take that off and check the hard hats (pivot points) through the side, if you check them you may find one broke or split, you can change these through the side, this would give the symptoms of grinding gears.

Are you sure Zetor Crystal can run the PTO backwards??? If so how do you engage it?? As far as I understand all you can do is change the speed by inserting the shaft into front of transmission:-/
