The Ursus C355 is a 1976 model...
We have managed to get a reasonable pressure on the pedals...we had to pump more vigorously to get the air out...so we do now have a foot brake...
The handbrake was linked to the footbrake pedal with a link under the foot plate..it would...
I have recently refurbished the brakes on a Ursus C355..
Brake shoes were solid - Pivot pins seized
Wheel cylinder pistons solid ...rusty..
I Fitted:-
New wheel cylinders
New brake pipies
New Master cylinders
New equalizer across the two master cylinders.
I cannot seem to get any pressure on...
Can anyone tell me why the overflow pipe is dripping on the injector pump?
Where is the oil coming from?
It drips when the engine is running and after for a short while.
Is it splash oil through the timing cover connection that drives the pump?
Or.. too much oil in the govenor side?

We have restored a Zetor 3045 that had been standing for 10 years. Fitted a replacement block/new liners/ pistons etc...
Refitted the original diesel injector unit reconnected injectors etc.. The engine started after a few turns which was a good sign.
The injection pump looked like it had not...

The direction the seal faces I am ok with.
It is the distance it goes into the locating bore - it can go flush with the casting or upto 5mm in sitting right on top of the bearing.
The seal is 12mm deep and there is a bore about 17mm deep for it too locate. I don't...

I have been reconditioning the brakes on a Zetor 3045.
This involved fitting new cylinders / springs etc...
I have replaced the two sealing rings (oil rings) in the brake backplate.
One is a 45 x 62 x 12 that is held in a fixing cover that attaches to the rear of the brake backplate with 3...
I am overhauling a 3 cylinder Zetor engine including new liners / pistons / rings etc...
Have the pistons got a direction in the bores?
To my knowledge some types of piston have a thrust and anti-thrust face...
The combustion hole on the Zetor pistons is central, so I don't think it matters...
