Big Doug; Thx for info. It was in 4WD low range on open field. I tried it in 4WD high range and awhile the field is wet today very little lockup/clunk. I tried it in 2WD and no problem. Why in 4WD low especially. THX Fox
My 1988 7745 clunks/jerks when turning. Other than that it is a good tractor that I use very little, usually just for moving snow in the winter. I believe I read somewhere in this forum that the the gears/brakes load up and it has to be driven reversed to unwind it. Any ideas? Also I...
Not sure if I asked the right question but there is a plate beside the clutch marked clutch release and under it is a tube with a red top on it. Mine is loose but I guess that is where the lube oil goes. I thought I saw something on this site about it but cannot find it. Any suggestions.
Recently awhile pushing heavy snow my clutch stayed engaged and I cut the fuel to stop. The pedal would not spring back. After I restarted all seemed OK. It was a hard push in 3rd gear for 150 metres and I wonder if I just heated up the clutch momentarily or is there another problem. Thanks

WOW! Seems like a lot of sludge. I found a few specks of metal too. Pulled them out with a magnet. Maybe filings from manufacture? Maybe something else. Time will tell. Thx Foxman

This is a 7745 FWD We've changed fluids and put her to work. Lots of power, no smoke and good temps. Only problem is right brake has little stopping power but left seems OK. I need to buy a repair/shop manual. Anyone know where to get one? Foxman
Guys; Thx for the responses and I will try to free up the low range by reversing. The muffler looks new but is cracked at the bottom just above the manifold. I could weld it but is an after market muffler a better way to go or is Zetor original a special muffler?. I live in northern Ont...
