My 7745 clutch was recently replaced. It does not engage until all the way out. It does so after a second or so. The Tractor Repair Shop who installed it says this is natural in a hydraulic clutch. In cold weather it takes a few seconds before the tractor moves. Can I adjust it to activate before the pedal is completely out? How? Thanks Fox

Hi David

There is no adjustment on the clutch linkage. The tractor should drive, immediately you release the pedal, even if it is very cold. It sounds like you have one of the cylinders sticking or the clutch crosshaft / release bearing sleeve sticking.

Make sure to oilthe throwout bearing. There is a metal tube coming thru the inspection plate on left side of tranny.
