Thanks, I kind of thought that was the case but I didn't want to run the risk of frying anything. In all honesty it probably wont hurt to put new batteries on as the previous owner seemed to run it on a shoestring. While I'm talking about tractors, there seems to be some sort of air compressor...
Hi thanks for the reply, I think they are probably parallel as one connects to the other and then on to the starter etc, no that I doubt your knowledge but why 643 and 644 and not 633's. The 633's seem to have a higher output for the same money....... and I'm near St Lo in Normandy about 50mins...
