Hi, apologies to all if this is very basic but I'm a bit new to tractors.
I have an 8011 which doesn't get used too often and as such I used to find the batteries went flat fairly regularly. Have now fitted an aftermarket isolator and cleaned and tightened all the starter motor connections but dont think the batteries are up to scratch any more. Considering buying two new ones ( been recommended 663's) to replace the batteries in the cab which are fitted in line, giving 24v.
1. Is this correct for the tractor?
2. Is there anything else needs checking before I elect for open wallet surgery
Any ideas gratefully received, as I'm in Normandy and there isn't a huge pool of knowledge down here
