Hi

I repaired my 3 point lift last year. Honed the cylinder and installed new piston with new seals. Havent used the tractor since and this week I was goint to lift a heavy snow blower. The 3 point lifts to the top and then starts jumping up and down? Is this someting with the internal cylinder or could it be pump or overload valve?

The tractor needs a new pump som I have bought a new pump and valve but not had the chance to change them yet...

Anyone?

there is a safety valve on the lift cylinder to protect against shocks. It may be leaking.

Thanks Renze. Hopefully its this valve messing with me.

But I think I will have to remove the Heavy cover and take a look inside anyway. The outer Circuit on the distributor isnt working like it should, it gets stuck on occation and then nothing Works...

Then check your suction filter as well... If the drop valve and the external remote valves both stick, it might suck up trash through a broken suction filter... ?? just check to rule out things.

Were you able to find out what the cause of this problem was? I have the same issue with a 5011 that I just purchased. The previous owner said
"It pulses like that when the hydraulic fluid is running low."
and I said
"Ok, so why is it low? is it leaking?"
and he said
"It probably is. It's been sitting for quite a while. If the seals sit too long with no movement they tend to dry out and shrink."
He recommended I buy hydraulic booster/leak stopper fluid.

Havent had the time to look into this yet.

But I have ordered a new distributor, new pump and new oveload valve.

Where is this safety valve located?

With the above purchases it should work!! If not, metal recycling next....

The intermittent correction of the 3pt is in 95% of the cases caused by a set of 5 euro lift piston seals...

===edit, i see you already tried the obvious, so now looking to the odd and more expensive bits... good luck, my guess is the distributor or the shockvalve mounted on the lift cylinder.

Renze: I have ordered the overload valve located besides the pump at the bottom cover.

Is there also a safety valve under the heavy top cover?? Like beside the distributor? Or does the distributor come with a new safety valve??

Hi
The banjoskrew on the liftsilinder should have an overloadvalve integrated.

Thank you Bjarne. I found it on the parts diagram and ordered it!

How important is it to change all the o-rings ad copper seals when I have i apart? Or is it ok just reuse them if they seem ok?

Besides the pump, is the pump safety valve. The one besides the lift cylinder is a cylinder safety valve, in case you hit a pothole with the 3pt lift at maximum load. I never noticed it drop a load, i just once blew the hose to the auxilary lift cylinder because it rubbed against the cab frame.

Parts are on the way.

-distributor 6919 8140
-safety valve 67118015

I already have the hydraulic pump and the overlaod valve. Did order a new intake filter for the pump, but it doesnt fit the pump very well. I have the 32 liter pump? Anyone seen the same?
