hi,

as most of you know i'm restoring a 3045. i recently changed the transmission oil and cleaned the filter and now when i engage the pto lever full forward the lift arms do not rise but the pto spins ok and the external supply works as well. i'm i missing something simple or is there a fix for this.

also anybody who knows where i can get an operators manual for this model please let me know.

cheers

Sean

The symptoms you describe make no sense. Cleaning the pump and transmission fluid could not result in a malfunctioning 3pt lift.
I really cant make anything from these symptoms.

I don't have a 3045 so this may be no help ... On my 3340 when I push the pto/hydraulic lever all the way forward the pto is disengaged and the hydraulics are engaged. I have to pull the lever back 2 positions (I think it's 2, as I'm not looking at my tractor right now) to engage pto and disengage hydraulics.

Not sure what any of this has to do with changing fluids, tho!

Hi

If i'm understanding you correctly, you have external hydraulics (at the trailer tipping pipe)working okay but no lift on the arms ?
If this is the case you have a problem with the diff valve which is fitted in the main hydraulic chest under the top hydraulic cover. The dff valve runs across the control chest and is the one held in with 2 'C' clips. It is for changing from internal to external hydraulics. You could have disturbed some dirt when you cleaned her out.
