hi
The steering of my 3045 has a in excess of a quarter turn of play before the drop arm starts to move any information on adjusting same would be greatly appreciated
thanks Walsh

if its not the link ends its further in the box. when doing my 3545 i removed the 2 castings bolted on the side of the box. watch out oil will pour out. and you can see inside ther is a meatal lump which travels up and down the screw this could have worn or the recievers the travel in the grooves of it. i think you can get these. i would advise you to clean all inside. if you wanant to remove the steering wheel shaft remove the four bolts on the carry tube and remove the steering wheel and it comes off. screw the shaft and it will pull out of its bearings. when re assembling replace gaskets and if bearings are ok pack them with grease or change them with new ones and pack them with grease. and re fill the box with oil. good luck;)
