I have replaced the battery, starter and ignition switch. Removed and cleaned both the ground wires from the battery to the kill switch and tractor frame. I have bypassed the kill switch. All this and it still won't crank. The battery light on the dash does not come on when trying to start. I have tested the bulb and it is good. When the start button is pushed, the starter will click with one solid knock, but it will not crank. Now, if I use my jumper cables, and ground from the battery to the starter, it cranks right up. What other grounds are there for me to check? Is there a decent wiring diagram available? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

You put the live cable directly on the starter ?

Will it start if you jump the solenoid poles with a screwdriver ?
