Hello !

Im new to this forum, and what a nice forum it is !

I have some questions about my old Zetor 3511 1973 (I think). Im about to replace the engine oil for the first time in my ownership, and was wondering how many liters of oil the engine contains.
Also, is the total amount of oil in the engine included with the oil in the filters, that should be filled half way (according to instructions) ?
The dipstick has threads. When measuring oil level, should the dipstick completely screw in or just rested on the start of the threads?
And last, how many liters of gear/hydraulic oil does the 3511 contain?
I have a manual for the tractor, but it dossent say anything about fluidleves. It just reffers to a lubrication chart, that I dont have.

...sorry for all the questions, but I really love my old Zetor, and I want it to last another 40 years Uttrykksikonet wink;)

Not sure about the amount. I think you will need two 5 liter cans.

Oil filters, the more you fill them the shorter period of time the bearings will run dry the next time you start it. Just fill it enough to just not spill. :)

Or fill half and then insert the actual filters. i think thats what they mean

According to my operators manual which covers the 3511 model the engine oil quantity is 1.76 gallons (8 Litres) and the transmission / gearbox quantity is 5.06 gallons (23 Litres)
