5211 clutch petal leaking

hi my clutch petal squirts fluid when depressed where do you add fluid it is a 1985 new to me tractor and i dont have a real service manual thanks for any help jim

It sounds like you need a new master cylinder. they are about 70 Euro. Dont get a repair kit, because new ones are of much better quality.

thanks Renze i do need one and a brake one i took it apart today . when i fill the hole under the side cover it comes out the bottom of block i cant figure where to put fluid it seems to be out.

The brake/clutch fluid reservoir is under the bonnet, on the right hand side right before the cab. At least, on our 5245.

thanks Renze so it uses the brake resorvoir? that would explain alot .

i replaced the master cylinder and slave cylinder and cltch is fixed i used it tho pull trees for my pond renovation thanks Renze for the help great forum now for the brake cylinders
