1988 Zetor 5211. When clutch is pushed the pedal moves normally, however the clutch does not actually disengage. At low RPM and no load can force transmission into 1st or reverse, under load cannot even pop the tractor out of gear had to shut it down before I ended up in the creek. Brakes work, slave cylinder piston has full travel in and out. Have greased the grease fittings at the clutch arm pivot point. Tractor sat for approx. 4 weeks due to surgery and worked fine prior to that 4 week laydown time.
Any ideas on what can be the issue?

the clutch plates can be sticky due to an oil leak. But most likely you have a bad master cylinder (are you sure you have full travel on the slave cylinder ?)

But first, top up the brake fluid and bleed the clutch. The clutch suction port on the brake fluid tank is higher than the brakes, so the clutch will draw air before the brakes do, when the level is low.

Sounds a bit like a broken buttress cap on the release levers.
True, but after the things that went on lately, i thought to rule out the obvious first.. ;)
