5211 hydraulic filter change

When changing the hydraulic filter does the cannister need filled with hydraulic gear oil before re-installing? Can't find this in the book. Thought this might help keep from getting air in the system..Thanks

Good..Thanks Did not get new grommet for bottom of cannister-hope it don't leak.
