Got oil change done..Took me way too long..For future reference, both of my filters look exactly the same inside(12 discs)--I took each individual one off of the center tube and swished it good in diesel- I also made sure I laid them out so I would put them back together with the same side facing up as they were when I took them out..Is it necessary to keep them facing the same way they came out or does it really matter? Lots quicker to dump em all in a bucket swish em all at once and put them back together either side up without regards to which side was up when they came out..Also got to get a flex funnel-they tried to tuck the oil fill hole under the edge of the hood where you can't use a normal funnel..
Only leak I've seen on this 20 yr old iron is a tiny seep at the oil drain plug..Right or wrong I put teflon tape on it and stopped that little seep.

as long as you keep disks from filter one and filter two separated and dont mix up the filters its ok. all disks in one filter are like on both sides so just flush them togheter. BUT be SURE to put filter one and two in the right places.

Thanks. That's what I needed to know-that will speed up oil change time a lot.
