5245 no hyd or pto

on our 5245 when we try to engage the hay or pto nothing hapens, has anyone had simular trouble or ideas how to repair.
is the hyd pump in casing under levers for pto. do you remove top plate to access unit. we have no book. help

Most probable cause of your problem is a broken C stift on the ned of the PTO gear lever. You cna go for a C stift, or just slam an inch of a 6" wood nail into it.

The oil pump is under the rear axle, hidden under a round cover mounted with some M8 bolts
