I recently purchased a 5245. The 3-point hitch arms drop then self correct continuously. There is obviously a leak somewhere inside. Is it an easy to fix problem, or will I have to lift the cab and dismantle the whole setup?

I have both the owner/operator and workshop manuals if that helps to answer the question.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, you have come across one off the common errors, most licly the liftpistonseal is worn out. To fix this you will have to take out rear part of the cabflore and take the cover off rearend, the ram and walves comes off whit the cover. You need two rubber seal`s and one steel ring, gasket and O-rings for the oilpipe. Good lukk.

Thank you very much. It'll be helpful to have a starting point when I get some time to tackle it.
