5711 cold start button

Hi I'm new on here ,is there anyone who can help I have a set of 5711 and cold start button on the injection pump won't stay depressed ,also when it does start on high acceleration ,when you try to dethrottle it doesn't slow down straight away then it just stops .

Cold start button only stays depressed when the hole in the fuel rack moves around the pin on the inside of the button. Use hand throttle to get the fuel rack to move to max fuel injection bumpstop (which is the cold start button) then press it so the pin aligns with the hole, fuel rack moves further, holding the button in.
