Hi guys. I just bought myself a 6245 1986 model, with just over 1800 hrs on the clock. when i got it didnt get hot and there was little heat coming from the cab heater. so today i changed the termostate. now i think engine got the right temp (meter reads 70C ) but the engine feels hotter. i will change the temp sensor too. the air coming from the heater is now much warmer but not as warm as it should be.(ive had both 6245 and 7745 so i know how hot it should feel like) question is can this be caused by a clogged heater, since the tractor has wery little hours on it over long period of time? the coolant was not the worst looking coolant ive seen....nor was it the best. so what do you think guys?

Hi

I've had the steel heater pipes which run up the cab frame get blocked near the bottom on the bends. Also lift the roof and check the heater tap is opening fully.
