Does the injection pump on the 6245 suppose to have oil in it like I've seen posted here on other zetor tractors? I found a plug on top and a drain plug on the bottom. Had very little oil in it when I drained it. If it is suppose to have oil in it, how much do I put in and where do I fill it?
Thanks for your help ,

HB

6245 fuel pump is attached to the engine pressure lube pump. its maintenance free.

Thank you Renze, I appreciate your response.
I ordered a service manual and it still hasn't arrived.
Do you happen to know how many gallons of hydraulic oil the 6245 holds? I'm trying to get this tractor ready for hay baling soon. I'm still having trouble with the injection pump i'm guessing, when I put it under load it runs strong, but when I am coasting in gear down a hill and there is no load on the tractor, it's missing and popping. Does that sound like calibration of the injectors or an out of time pump?

Thanks,
HB

I cant tell without seeing and listening. I have never encountered a fuel pump problem on a Zetor , except for a sticky rack on the older models that werent connected to the engine lube oil yet.
