6341 Diff lock

My differential lock quit working. I have air pressure to it. Any suggestions for repair will be welcome.

Hi,

It's either the cylinder siezed or the linkage rusty. It is on R/h side under cab on the front side of the axle.

It has about a ton of mud on it now. when spring gets here I'll take a look at it. My biggest complaint about these tractors is that they were not designed to operate in mud. In winter the parking brakes,4WD cylinder, PTO lever all freeze up.

Do you use anti freeze in the compressed air system ? I dont know if it has an anti freeze sprinkler or an air drier, but it must have something to prevent the condensate to freeze.

it has none of the above mentioned Renze, zetor has cleverly enough made a system that produces little or nothing of condensation. i have never had any mor than a little moist coming out of the system while draining it

The owners manual does not say anything about that. The 4WD works fine winter or summer. It may have so much mud on it that it can not work. When I get time I will take the bottom out of the cab and check it out.
