hello i have Zetor 7211 and i am going to do a full engine rebuild and want to put a turbo on it .....and i red somewhere that the cylinderhead on the 7211 is not strong enough so.... can i use a cylinderhead from a 7711turbo ? or do you guys have another way .....and all other information about putting a turbo on 7211 is apprecieted
and heres a zetor spareparts site if anyone needs it
7745 turbo heads have hardened valve seats pressed into the heads, where standard heads are seated in the cast head material. Furthermore it has different valves, head gaskets and pistons.
To convert to turbo you definately need the head gaskets and the valves, the valve seats (heads) are recommended. About the pistons i dont know the difference. If they are oil cooled with an oil jet, your block doesnt have the jets drilled into the casting so it wouldnt make any difference. But as said, i dont know if turbo pistons are cocktail shakers.
The connecting rods are the same for all UR1 both 110 and 120mm stroke so yours are as strong as the ones used in 7745 turbo
i dont have the engine if i had it i probably would just use it....but i really want to do a turbo setup on this engine because thats more fun than changing the whole engine ....but so i understand correctly the 7745 turbo engine and 7211 are almost the same ? and most parts are compatible ?
