Is it possible to change the crankshaft on the 7245 to a crankshaft similar to the 7745 ?

7745 Uses a different casting for the engine block & conrods are shorter as well as using a longer stroke crankshaft!

The connecting rods and bearing shells are the same, just the 7745 has a longer stroke (different crankshaft and pistons)

I dont see why you would want to replace just a crankshaft. If you have a 7701 engine of which you can take out the crankshaft, use that engine.
If you think of buying a new crankshaft, forget about it and buy a brand new shortblock. Its cheaper than the crankshaft and pistons, plus lots of other parts like gaskets etcetera, furthermore there is labor cost.
Even if you plan to do the work by yourself, you'd earn more if you charged 15 euro per hour and went working for a neighbor or brother in law.

Renze the connecting rods on the 7745 are SHORTER than the connecting rods on the 7245 engine!

Nope. The parts manual says both have the same part number, AFAIK.... the pistons are different so i assume the 7701 pistons have the piston pin 5mm higher in the piston.
