How do I lubricate the clutch release bearing on my 7745? Ir seems to stick once in a while. How much lubricant? Thanks David

Not sure if I asked the right question but there is a plate beside the clutch marked clutch release and under it is a tube with a red top on it. Mine is loose but I guess that is where the lube oil goes. I thought I saw something on this site about it but cannot find it. Any suggestions.

Just remove the red cap cap and put a few drops of oil down the tube from time to time, more harm is done by over oiling than by ignoring it altogether ! It doesn't oil the thrust bearing, which is sealed, only the sliding parts.

Thanks. I'll check it out. My tube that the red cap is on can be pulled right out. Perhaps it has broken off. I will try a bit of oil. Thanks David
