Anyone know what the PSI pressure is on the power steering cylinder of a 7745.

I have a cylinder on the right front (as your seated) that keeps leaking. I've had it fixed twice now at two different machine shops and it still leaks - lose a litre a month.

I want to replace it with a 2500 PSI tie rod cylinder that I can pick up for under $200 CDN. New cylinder from Zetor is over $1,600 CDN plus tax.

I'm using hydraulic oil as required in manual - I suspect anything thicker will really hamper power steering control.

Any one have a feel for what the power steering pressure is. (or ideas how to fix the problem)

Thanks.

The 7745's had problems with cylinders in the early days, I would put your $200 cylinder on it.

I think the pressure is around 2200 PSI

Working preussure is 10 Mpa in both, power steering and hydraulic steering, systems. I think it is about 1450 lb/in^2

Someone correct if its wrong.
