I am thinking about buying a power box and on the zetor crystal I have the hydraulic pipes but I dont know how to control the box do I have to buy a seperate control unit to operate the power box or how do the hydraulic pipes work on the zetor.

What is a power box?
The crystal has 2 hyd tappings on the back. If you are using a tipping trailer for example, you would use only one, operated by the small lever on the quadrant, in the rearward direction. if you had something that required double action, for example, a log splitter, then you would use both tappings and the lever would work both by moving it all the way foreward or all the way back.
If you want constant pumping then complete a hyd circuit using both tappings and fix the lever so that it's in the rearward position.
The only thing about this is that if you have a machine, for example, a hydraulically powered bale wrapper, that is constantly running hard then you should pipe the return pipe directly into the gearbox, to minimise the back pressure and friction in the oil which causes it to heat up.

Hi Dave a power box is a hydraulic transport box. I dont know if my crystal has these levers you talk about, where in the cab are they situated or do i have to buy a seperate unit.

Here's a scan of the crystal controls.
The outside lever (1) operates the hyd lift
Inside lever (2) works external rams through the tappings at the back of the tractor
Lever (3) selects mode of operation for the lift. Fully back is for draft control, next foreward is for Position and Draft combined, next is for position only, this is what I would expect you to use all the time except if you were ploughing, and the foreward one is labelled pressure, but is almost certainly not installed on your tractor in the control system.
