Hi one and all. I dont know if anyone can help but I have a problem with my 9540. It is a 93 model and the hydraulics wont lower. I have had the top off and stripped the valve and renewed O rings. Everything seems OK all linkages do what they should but when its put back and the tractor started up come the arms irrespective of the control position. They take no heed of the limiter and only stop when they hit the rear casting. I have taken the lid up a bit and the valve is definitely in the lower position, I have put it in the raised position with a screwdriver and the arms fall but wont raise again with the oil just going to the dump above the cylinder. I am getting fed up having taken the lid off twice and got a new valve priced up as megabucks!!!! any ideas or anyone got a good S/H valve? thanks

Have you checker the switch and wiring on the button on right hand pillar with a plough symbol on it ?

I have disconnected that and the actuating lever so not that unfortunately

I do not know how the switch / lever work, but perhaps disconecting it causes it to raise, perhaps try sending a constant power to it.
Most of the problems with these tractors are simple faults causing major headaches
