Axle Pivot Pin 6245

Hi

I have a 6245 and need to replace the front axle pivot pin & bushes but am having difficulty in removing the old pin.
Any suggestions ??

Have you removed the locating pin ? ( It is about half way along in the top of the pivot pin) Then get the pin pressed out with a press as they are usually very tight!

Do you have to split the tractor to do this? At present I have the front jacked up and have loosened the bolts on the casting to axle. I have removed the locating pin.
