No operators manual . Battery in 5211 has run down with seveal weeks sitting and trying to start. Battery is 5 years old. Will 12V charge get it back?

You could try and charge the battery chances are if it is 5 yrs old it has done its day and has died but batterys usually only have a life of 5 - 6 yrs.
