One of my brake master cylinders began to leak a couple of months ago. How hard are the cylinders to change? Is there a right and a left, or a universal cylinder?

I have replaced the 2 master brake, 1 master clutch and replaced the seals in the clutch slave on my 4340. If you search through the past posts you will come across several related to the problems with the original brake and clutch cylinders.

It was not a big job - the most difficult part was rounding up the replacement parts.

Check the past posts for spefic directions on the replacements.

Kevin,

I can get you whatever you need for those brakes. There is a left and right. Let me know what you need and where you are.

There is 1 type of cylinder, and three of them are mounted: 1 for clutch, one for left brake and one for right brake. Does that clear up possible confusion ?
