On my 5340 the brakes lock up with very little pressure on the brake pedal. It's almost impossible not to lock them up so I either plan my stops well ahead of time or skid to a stop.
Any ideas?

Many people will be jealous...
If it has the disk brakes, try adjusting the slack.

i thought its a zetor thing.with dry brakes, from the first day we picked up a brand new 8111,your choice`s with the brake pedal were, press hard&leave a 30ft black skid marks,or quick dabs on pedal&be catapulted into the windscreen either ways you couldnt stop her nicely.

LOL!! ;)

Thanks, I guess I'll just go through all the adjustment procedures and see where I end up. I think they're dry disc brakes but not 100% sure

In 2WD it skids to a stop, in 4WD, yeah, human catapult into the windscreen ;)

does it lock up when you pull the hand brake on aswell ..???..if not its a sticky slave cyln or the pivots on the rear axle are nearly seized ..if it locks with the hand brake then its your expanders inside the portal which will be at fault ''rough balls ''lol...take to bits clean and use a dremmel with a pear shaped grinding stone to reshape the half pear recesses so its not as steep where the ball sits and rolls out ..makes the brakes less servre...
