I am having trouble changing the cluch slave cylinder on my 6321 super/ Any tips or tricks?

Thanks. I got it in on Saturday and this was exactly the way I figured out to get it in. I had drained all of the fluid in the brakes and clutch, and put DOT 4 in. I bled the brakes starting with the right and then bled the clutch. The brakes bled good, but after bleeding the clutch until clear fluid with no air bubbles came out, the clutch pedal would not return to the top without me pulling it up with my toe or hand.

I talked to the dealer closest to me this morning, in Tyler, Texas. He told me that I would now need to replace the clutch master cylinder as well to fix the problem. He has it in stock and I will pick it up today and install it. I hope it installs as easily as the slave cylinder! I am assuming that I will also have to bleed that as well. I need to get things going to bale hay. Thank you.

I bled the brake and clutch system. Changed the clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder and replaced the brake fluid with DOT4 fluid to help keep moisture out. Got clutch and brakes pumped up good. I was ready to start engine.

Engine would not turn over at all. The battery was 2 years old 4DLT and they only have a one year warranty so I replaced battery. Same problem, all lights, radio A\C everything works.

Zetor dealer near Tyler, Texas where I get my parts told me it was probably a safety swithch. H e told me there was one behind clutch pedal, one on clutch PTO, and another in the dash on right hand side of cab and to check if the were loose.

Anyone had safety switch problems like these?

Hi,
There is a fuse on the starting system but I can't remember which one.

Mike

the safety switch is on top of gearbox on these models. you have to hold the main gearlever to the left to get it started. if you take out the panel wich the gearlevers come out through, you will see a switch with two brown wires on just above where the main gearlever goes into the transmission.
