Hello out there, does anyone know the RAL-nuber for the red colour on Zetor 6341. I think it is the same colour on for ex. 6245 and the others in the same series. My dealer have not the original colour at home and I need a little of it. If I have the RAL-number I could go to a colourshop an they mix the paint for me.
I could also use this kind of information for the colour of my 6718...if anyone has access to the paint codes I would be interested too!
Also the gold colour used for the engine and transmission...? I feel an FAQ topic coming on!
Hello Tom, do you see something I cant see? If you mean the number starting with S.XXXXX it is not the RAL number. There are some RAL numbers for standard colours but I cant find the RAL for Zetor.
For example: if you order a bucket of RAL 3009 you will get the oxide red colour, known from old fashioned lead primer.
Nowadays, in the steel construction business the same colour of the old oxide brown lead primer is used, but the primer itself is a zinc-fosfate primer.
...At least the Sparex website DID say that my Schuitemaker manure spreader needs fire red RAL 3000... The same colour as Steyr 80 series, Fendt wheels, and some more...
I havent used the original colour now, but it's indistinguishable from original.
If sparex would let everyone see what RAL colour is on their machines, they loose customers, because farmers will have local paint mixers to mix the right RAL colour for them...
I have got a book somewhere with paint codes in it but I don't know if it has RAL codes.I'll will look it out.If I get up to look for it now I know my internet connection will cut itself off!
Hang on I have just found the book in less than a minute-I thought it would take at least half an hour!
I have a "Herberts Standox Autolak" catalogue from 1991 I picked it up of the counter when I bought some paint because it looked useful. There are no manufacturer codes given but I think Standox still trade and you may be able to cross-reference to another paint manufacturer if you get the paint mixed yourself.
Under Skoda it lists these:
Tractor Red 74-82 Herberts Ref No 07087 but no manufacturers code
Tractor grey 77-82 Herberts No 10039 (early Crystal cabs)
Tractor Gold Metallic 74-82 Herbert's No 07089
Tractor Beige metallic 80-82 Herberts no 12857
Tractor Beige 74-82 Herberts No 07088 (Early Crystal Castings??)
Hope you can use this......
Now I think I know a little more of the colourcode for at least Super Vision series.
I ordered some "original sparepart paint" from Moto Check in Finland, he told me it should be RAL 3020.
I painted a little with the colour and bring the part with me to a local "car painter" and he told me the same thing - it was RAL 3020 he said. If I rub the colour on the tractor a little it looks like the same colour, but without rubbing the tractor looks a little more to orange.
So I think Zetor 6341 Super Vision = RAL-3020.
