Greetings from Florida, USA: Has anyone found a way to flush the transmission/hydraulic system that has milky white goop in it. What solvent did you use? Or, did you just re-filter and change the fluid. My first try ended up with somewhat thinner white goop. Thanks, Nick P.S., I.m busy sorting out a 4340 that has been sitting for two years!

Drop it out, fill with diesel fuel (1/4 to half of normal qty) and run a few minutes. Repeat 2-3 times. Just be carefull with hydraulics.

...Just dont try to do this with the engine..
The flushing is o.k. but lubricating a running engine on diesel instead of oil , wouldn't be smart...

Have you tried to allow it to leak off through the night ?? How much dripped out ?

...if you just run the hydraulics hot, the remaining water will vaporise.
