gear oil leaking

gear oil is leaking out of back end of 6911 zetor . seems to be coming out around the PTO.

its an easy fix just needs a new simmering on the pto shaft

i have the same problem with my 6711. i solved it by parking on a hill with the back end higher than the front. simples

You've got to be careful doing that, Grumpy, its much easier to change the PTO seal than an oily clutch plate

i guess Dave would be working on the assumption that if the seal on one end of the shaft is b*&**&*ed then theres a good chance the one on the other end is too?

Yes, I find oil runs downhill towards the front of the gearbox
