Hi
How are the proxima, proxima plus and the zetor track lifter working out???
Would like to hear the good points and bad points if any one knows

Proxima and Proxima plus - good tractors but no longer the leader in the price field

Zetor track lifter - what is this?

Iment front loder.
So they are more expensive comparing to other tractors then they were.?

That must be Trac-lift, the brand name under which Humploecke Strojirny sells their front loaders, that used to be sold as Zetor loaders.

Proxima and Proxima plus: there are enough cheaper tractors, but Zetor gives you the most bang for the buck: stronger drivetrains, a ton and a half more 3pt lift capacity, roomier cab, double the engine torque backup than the economy models of competitors, like the NH TDD models.

How are the Zetor engines working compared to simular engines?
and how is the gear shifth compared to other tractors ? is it rough ??

Zetor engines are tough as old leather boots, with 35 to 40% torque backup.

Gear shift on new Forterras is awful if they arent broken in yet. A 200 hr demo model i tried, shifted as good as a 9000 hr Fendt 611 i once drove. At least, way better than a Ford 8210

Break in, set, wear in, there are several terms for it.

It means that it is a bit tough when brand new, but achieves the best performance level after initial wear after a couple of times of use.

Just like a brand new spade. it works smoothest after the paint has worn off the cutting edge. ;)

Just got a 7441 open station 4wd with the 102 slx loader 16 hrs. on it so far, shifting is getting better. Lately 0'F has been the high temp around here and the 80w/90 they're shipped with could cause some issues with shifting I'm thinking. I am really impressed with the loader, it is built quite heavy.
Did have the divider valve stick and the 3pt would not raise, several full throttle bumps on the remote valve lever got things working again.
I was hoping to change out the 80w/90 at the 70hr. service for transhydraulic fluid, but with the cold temps I am thinking of doing it sooner.
Overall I am well satisfied with it.

You mean changeing it for 10w/30 STOU multipurpose oil ?
That's all 've ever put into one. Never tried 80w/90 so i cant tell if theres a difference.

10w/30 transhydraulic, HyTran, HyGard..... something along those lines. Proximas are shipped with 80w/90, the reason I was told was because 80w/90 is available worldwide. Some other oils are not. Best not to let it sit in one place to long in subzero temps with this in it.
My father was out with it today and commented on the low end the engine develops, just keeps going. Also looked at a nieghbors 5230? Deere today, when he told me what it cost I could not help but feel sorry for him.
