Put No.1 cylinder at TDC on compression stroke. (Valves on No.4 rocking) put pin in flywheel hole.
Take cap off side of pump and remove spring. Put pin back in and turn pump to find hole to lock pump. Fit to engine and torque up nut on front.

I found a video of the pump where it gets stuck.
The engine is pulled on piston 1 in compression . The valves are closed and the piston is up.
I'll check the flywheel for that stuck hole.
