Hi! I have problems with the hydralic system on 8011 that will not work periodicly. Than all of a suden it starts to work. Not when the trackor i runing! It has to be left for some days or weekes. (resting?) This has happen about tre times over a period af 3-4 years. The problem has never been solved. Today the hydralic system is out of order! There is enough with oil in the gearbox and it has been changed recently. I have cleand the three filters on the left side of the gearbox. The switch for hydralic on/off is in the right position. After cleaning/emptying the topp filter refiting it, trying if the system works, I noticed that there was not speciely much oil in that filter when I took it apart an looked inside. Anyone how has a clue what to do next?

Raise the gearbox oil level above the top mark by 50mm this will enable the torque pump to prime itself more easily as it is mounted above the normal oil level

I have exactly the same problem with my 8011! It is really frustrating.

It hadn't done it for about 2 years and then just recently it started doing it again. Like your 8011, there is plenty of oil in mine. What is weird is that when it is working, it works perfectly but when it fails, there is nothing.

I'm guessing now...but I think it must be an airlock on suction side of the hydraulic pump circuit. It takes time for the airlock to dissapate when the tractor is idle, then she is off again.

I'd really like to get to the bottom of this problem. If anyone has solved it, we'd love to hear from you.

Hi! Last weekend it was fully operativ for some time. I did not drive myselv. My loved did (it's her Zetor ). Than after resting some times later the problem was back. No function on the hydralics. Then she inspected the oil level, and it is 50mm above the upper level. So that can not be the problem. At first the hydralics did not work, but when she changed the position on the lever where to chose the operating mode for the hydralic on the back she heard a sound and then the system start working for a short period. But the next time she started the tractor the problem was back. The 8011 is a 1977or-78 years. Anyone how has a clue? We seems to be in the same boat Tom.

We seems to be in the same boat Tom.

Lennart,

We are in a canoe without any paddles!

I think it must be an airlock problem.....if it was a mechanical failure then the hydraulics would not come back.

Hi! Last weekend I hade a pleasnt meeting with "crystal". At first no hydrailic. I checked the oil level and it was enought, put not 50mm over as my dear said. I guess they were correct, even her son took a look. I aded al oil I had left so that the level become about 30mm over the top mark. Firs then it started to working. So ad more transmission oil Tom!
best of luck!

Lennart
