hydraulic lever settings for zetor 6945

i am on an outback property in australia and am asking if any one can provide a diagram which will indicate all hydraulic lever settings and functions for a zetor 6945. I have a manual but it does not go into detail what each lever position is about,

Any reply would be much appreciate.

This looks like one for me...

G'day!

From the right, that is, furthest away from you when you are in the hot seat:

1. 3 point hitch work height. The further back the lever, the higher the hitch. Move the lever forward, and the hitch goes down.
If you move the lever right the way forward, at the last inch or so of movement the hitch will start to raise again - this is used if you to temporarily put more weight on the back wheels for more grip when you have a heavy implement on.

2. Double acting external hydraulic control. All the way back is the "lift" position, the centre position is "hold", and all the way forward is "lower" if you have just a single action cylinder connected and "power down" if you have a double acting external cylinder.

3. Draft / Position control. All the way back is "position", that is to say with this lever in this position, that the lift simply goes up and down as you move lever 1. All the way forward is "draft" or automatic. This position is used for implements like ploughs, and like this the plough will tend to keep working at the same depth in the ground. This is useful if for example your field is uneven, then when you drive over a bump the plough won't come out of the ground. The middle position of this lever is a kind of mixture of the two, and I have used this for example when tedding with a Vicon Acrobat rake, which works on the surface but I want it to follow the ground even if the field is uneven.

That's your main three controls...

Then under your seat / right leg you will find a lever marked "herkkyys" or 'sensitivity' in Finnish (at least that's what mine says ;) ) This controls the speed at which the hydraulic lift reacts when in draft / automatic mode. Full to the left works best for me. I think if it's moved to the right, it gives less oil to the lift, and more to the external hydraulics.

On the floor to the right of your left foot you will find the hydraulic pump / pto selector. Full forward is hydraulic pump only - then comes hydraulic pump and pto operational, then one step further back is neutral, and then if you move the lever to the rearmost position the pto works through the gearbox for driving a trailer axle.

The lever furthest away from you on your left , to the left of the handbrake, is the pto / hydraulic pump clutch. You'll need to pull this UP before engaging the pto, if you have an implement connected to it that is. This clutch also disengages the hydraulic pump so when the lever is up the pto stops but also your lift arms won't come up. If you want to raise an implement with the pto off (eg, a snow blower in my case) you will need to therefore move the pto / pump selector lever to the forward position.

Hope this helps!

All the best from the Frozen North
