hmmm its one of those that was never popular in Holland...
Googling it up, most likely you either stripped a gearwheel (you find photos of stripped gears when googling that Kuhn model) or a rollpin connecting the gear to the shaft snapped. Anyhow, you'll have to take it apart to tell.
