forget the poor starting in the cold..... probably low compression will fix in the summer.
i am now after a decent power loader that i can bolt on.
are there any other zetor loaders that will fit the 7 series as this will expand my search
are the trip bucket ones easy enough to convert?
does it/ should it attach to the big rear axle, as stated on this forum.
i have read all the previous posts on this subject but opinions change and i am hoping someone may have what i want
all help and will be gratefully received.
love the old beast
thanks, mark

i have seen a loader from a 5711 that was fitted with a
duncan cab. it is not powered up but i can do that if i have to.
i could do with some photos to see how the loader actually fits
on.

Will this fit my 6748 (no cab)

thanks, mark

the main worry will be if anything hits the front wheels on full lock... if that looks good it should fit ok

yes, you are right. i do not know how to test this. might put a length of timber along side the tractor wher the supports go. then put the wheels to full lock, see if they touch.
the 5711 only had the little axle and wheels.

Extending the subframe to the rear axle is definately required if you have a 4wd. In the past, tractors have broken in half behind the clutch bellhousing because they arent designed to accept lateral bending, just up/down bending.
I made mine from UNP180 so it takes bending too, but most loaders use solid bar that just takes tensile strength.

thanks for the advice renze.
would a 4 wheel drive come from the factory with the rear supports?
how much extra for the supports and how do they fix?

i have read and seen your self build loader. i am not that skilled so i will have to buy one.
did you run the hydraulic from the rear axle as i have read there is
a hydraulic plug down there some where.

also my apologies i have started the same thread again.

thanks, mark

No i didnt take pressure from the plug under the rear axle: Because the system is open center, i would still have to block the oil flow to the 3pt to get any pressure on it. I just run two quick couplers in the back of it, and keep the lever in place with a rubber strap of a tarpaulin.
Yes all loader subframes come with axle bars these days.

yes i am going to have to do it properly.

i already have the quick couplers on the back, for my hydraulic post knocker.

thanks, mark
