Does anyone know if a subframe for a 7045 (Veto-loader) will fit on a 6748? Are there much modifications?

Regards from Norway.

There will be no problem fitting a 10 series subframe to a 6748 tractor.

What model Veto loader are you buying ? If it is an early FX series, i strongly recommend welding two pieces of flatbar, 50x10 mm over th entire length of the front part of the boom, both upper and lower sides.

I use a Veto FX 12 loader on a 5245, and when i bought this loader, it was all cracked. It is undoubtedly NOT built for 4WD power. I welded mine with 6 meter of 50x10 mm flatbar, St 52.3 quality. According to my structural calculations, this improves the bend resistance with 71%
The newer Veto loaders are copies of Quicke loaders, after Quicke bought Veto from Thrige agro, those will be strong enough

I don't know what kind it is. It's from 1995. Maybe I rather should keep my old industrial monster-loader, which is really big enough. (Too big maybe. It's pretty slow with the big cylinders, even on 1000 rpm) But I think it could stand a war or two.

1995 ?? my old FX 12 is from early or mid 1980's...

This is from www.quicke.nu
1999 Olle Pehrsson becomes the new Managing Director. Reorganisation of staff duties is implemented. A Danish competitor[/][/] and importer for Great Britain is acquired that same year.

The Danish competitor is Veto.... so the 1995 loader is a true Veto design.

How much does your loader lift ? 2000 kg ?

I've now mounted prima/humpolec loader-subframes taken from a 7745 on my 6748. A few modifications had to be done. A litle grinding around the oil-separator, and under the brake-pumps. And I had to shorten the axle to the towing-hook axcactly 3 cm. The loader is made in 1994.

:DNo big deal to make it fit.
