hello,

I already have a fordson dexta, but have been looking at Zetors.... basically what i really am looking for is a 3045 4WD... anyone got any info about these, and possibly how rare they are, and how much they go for... i may be in for a shock...as from auction results over a year ago i saw one was sold for about 4k.... is this still the situaion.... otherwise what other small Zetor models are there, ie. same size as Dexta, but 4wd.

Thanks

Hi Wdf,

Where do you live as this will have a big impact on what you will pay?

"Classic Tractor" magazine is a good place to start if you have access to it. It is published monthly in England. You can also try your local "Buy and Sell".

Happy Searching!

yes, I am in the UK. I will be going to the next Cheffins auction (cambs) to see what is about.

I already have a Dexta, but 'interesting' fords, ie roadless.... go for a fortune.... so I decided i want a 4wd, but to go for something less 'sought after'. Another one I am looking at is say a small David Brown 4wd, of which they appear to be reasonably cheap (as they do not get exported like the fords apparently).

Buy "Classis Tracvor". There are loads on ads in there for Zetors.

Bexwells??? is a dealer.

Why the ??? face Tom? Also are they the main UK distributors now or has Zetor UK moved nearby by coincidence?

Crystalman - Re the sad face, I wasn't sure of the spelling of Bexwell's. I don't know what the story is re UK Zetor distributorship. There is an unusual situation emerging in the USA where Zetor will sell the tractors BUT American Jawa (a distributor) will supply spare parts. Figure that one out if you can!

Wdf - now that I have Classic Tractor to hand - Bexwells are in Norfolk. 01366 383301. You could also try Gibbings on 01769 580695.
