There are a outlet on the pump plate but no oil returm inlet, we want to keep the factory innstalled valves untouched.

5211 has a separate oilreturn, how is this connected? Is it possibile to upgrade the 4718 to a 5211 hydraulics?

the easyest way to get a free return line. i have a 4712 by the way basically the same tractor but without factory mounted cab. i drilled a hole in the gearbox filler cap velded on a piese of threads an installed a 90 degrees bend and a short stump of hose with a quick coupler in the end. then the oil can flow freely into the gear box without going throug any valves.

Yes, but seems to be a bit complicated to expand the hydraulics the way the owner wants, I se some suggestions to reroute all the oilflow from the pump thru the extra valve and then back upp to the pipe that are going to the orginal valves.

As I understand it you must modify the mounting plate for the pump to get two extra in/outlets.

The valve itself is the same on the 5211 and 4712. The difference is that a 4712 in many cases, has only one pipe mounted so you can only use it single acting.
The free return on a 5211 can be drilled into the gearbox at any time.
