Hi,
Im in Concord, NH, USA and today I was plowing my yard after our blizzard when my FEL hydraulics stopped working. It happened this way and here are the details I know at this time.
1 Finished a push of snow and went to lift the FEL with attached plow blade. No response at all and no noises. Bucket tilt also non-functional.
2 Never any problems before.
3 No noises during prior plowing.
4 Put lift valve in Float position and jacked up blade to get back to garage. Returned valve to neutral position and lowered jack. Blade followed the jack down.there was no hold in the raised position so I blocked the lift arm to the mounting structure and got it back to the garage.
5 Rear hydraulics will raise the Fransgard Winch attached to the rear lift arms.

Tonight I will read my service manual , but a quick review doesnt seem too helpful.
I am asking for help and suggestions to diagnose this problem tomorrow.
Thanks in advance.

Does the FEL use the internal hydraulics or does it have a separate front mounted pump off the front of the engine?

there was a thread on here last week where the drive coupling on a front mounted pump sheared off.

Problem solved. Imagination can be a bad thing when one always imagines the worst! Problem was that Remote Hyd control knob loosened and Remote Control lever moved out of position, forward and down, removing pressure from the rear remote. Probably from impact of hitting snowbank.
