how tight are the bolts on the oil cannisters supposed to be. iam changing oil and cleaning the screens. do not want to overtighten the bolts that hold on the cannister.

thanks dale

Just tight. You know what bolts can take, generally. Theoretically if leaking stops, it's tight enough.

If you use the proper spanner you will be OK.Although the bolts are not High Tensile so don't go mad!! I have an opinion that Car makers make their wheel braces the right size so that when you tighten them by hand you automatically get the right torque-so why do tyre fitters use impact wrenches so that you can't undo them when you are stuck by the road?;);)
