Anyone out there can tell me what is causing an oil leak from the exhaust manifold on a 3511???

I was wondering can anyone give me advice, i put a new exhaust manifold on the engine. however oil is managing to escape through the manifold. Can anyone out there please tell why this may happen ?

Hi

Engines quite often do this when they don't work hard. They don't get up to working temperature and any oil which comes past the piston rings or through valve stems doesn't get burned off. This then seeps through the manifold gaskets as they don't seal "oil tight" like a paper gasket. It's nothing to worry about and may be helped with a hard days work with the tractor. New piston rings may help it but if it doesn't work hard it will probably do it again.
